Bliadhna Mhath Ùr. Everyone at the Celtic Heart of North of America would like to wish you and yours a very Happy New Year. We look forward to another year of sharing the Celtic culture of Cape Breton with you.
We are very proud of our Celtic Heart blog. Our bloggers are passionate about Cape Breton Island’s culture and are ready to share their unique views and experiences.
I’d like to introduce you to two of the Celtic Heart’s bloggers:
Angus MacLeod. Angus is a regular contributor to the www.celticheart.ca blog and will continue to educate with his vast knowledge of Gaelic language and culture. He is a fluent Gaelic speaker who lives on the North Shore of Cape Breton Island. He will entertain you with stories and discussion pertaining to the Gaelic language that is part of Cape Breton Island’s rich and unique culture. Angus’ posts will be written in both English and Gaelic.
Jody MacArthur. Jody is Celtic Heart’s new project manager and she is looking forward to learning more about the home of her heart, Cape Breton, and sharing her adventures with Celtic Heart followers. Jody grew up in Westmount, Cape Breton, and lived in Halifax for several years before returning with her husband to raise their two young daughters in Cape Breton. Jody’s blog will feature upcoming events in Cape Breton and her goal is to explore and share the many Celtic experiences offered on the Island.
