If not, there are plenty of things to do to keep the children occupied for the week so you won’t have to listen to choruses of “I’m bored!”

Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design

Cape Breton Craft knows that children are the future of craft and to help little hands create and have fun they offer a variety of cool, colourful and creative courses and workshops throughout the year and are committed to providing high quality craft programs for young children and young adults. The Centre welcomes opportunities to work with, and support the early childhood education community through such initiatives as special exhibitions, resource development and workshops for educators and parents.

Kids 'N' Art
Combine creativity, fun and, (don’t tell the kids) learning and you’ve got the Kids ‘N’ Art workshop. Talented and energetic artist, Kenny Boone, will lead a program that teaches the fundamental techniques of drawing and painting, while allowing kids to express their own creativity while letting their imaginations soar!

Daily, March 11th to March 15th, 2013

1pm to 4pm

Instructor: Kenny Boone

Location: Cape Breton Centre for Craft & Design

Fee: $75 (The tuition fee includes all materials.)

Suitable for children ages 7 to 12.

Kids 'N' Craft
For kids who can always find something to glue, mix or “create”, Kids ‘N’ Craft will be their playground. Fine arts instructor, Robyn Neal, will teach participants how to channel their artistic expression to create unique pieces of design. Everything from recycled paper sculptures to photo canvases will be involved, and the combination of design techniques and fun, provides growth for any age!
