Dan and Carla Crook are Cape Breton music and cultural enthusiasts from New Hampshire, USA. This couple has been travelling to Cape Breton Island for so long that they now offer their own House Concert Series in their home town Lebanon in the region of Upper Valley, bringing Cape Breton musicians into their lives on a regular basis! Dan and Carla’s blog will be filled with stories of a Cape Breton experience from a visitor’s perspective. |

Jim St. Clair is a community historian, storyteller and columnist for CBC Radio in Sydney, Cape Breton Island. Jim’s blog will highlight the obscure and perhaps unknown facts about Cape Breton Island and our magnificently vast culture. This blog will capture individual stories within the broader “Cape Breton Story”. |

Tracey Dares MacNeil is a musician living in Castlebay, Cape Breton Island. Although her life today is lived nearly entirely on-island, Tracey spent a number of years away from home, touring the Celtic music world playing the Cape Breton piano style with a number of Cape Breton and Celtic artists. Her blog will feature stories and information related to many interesting aspects of Cape Breton music, dance and culture. |
