Shirley Poirier Carpenter has been painting since 1970. She is founder and past president of the Merrymeeting Art Association in Topsham, Maine and is a member of the Kennebec Art Club in Bath, Maine. A summer resident of D’Escousse. Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Shirley also is a member of the Cape Breton Art Association. She opens her shop in May and closes at the end of October.
